Our Favourite Game Of Thrones Style Moments #DRACARYS 🔥
With Game Of Thrones over, I honestly don't know what to do with my Monday mornings anymore. The end of Season 7 has left an empty hole in my heart 😭😭😭. The season finale was epic and I can't believe we have to wait 2 whole years for the final season. 2 YEARS!!! 😩 Anyways, enough of my dramatic breakdown, we're here to talk fashion. The gorgeous ladies of Game Of Thrones are always on point with their outfits and I think we need an appreciation post for them. Scroll through to see our favourite style moments but if you're not caught up with the latest season, I can't promise there won't be spoilers!! WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD 🚫
We can't deny Emilia Clarke is a stunning beauty and her outfits throughout the series perfectly complemented her silver hair, pale skin and striking blue eyes. But I have noticed that in Season 7, Daenerys ditched her ethereal goddess-esque dresses and opted for a grey/black suit instead. It could possibly be a 'don't-mess-with-me' get-up the costume team was trying to portray through her wardrobe. Nevertheless, she still looks absolutely gorgeous. Jon Snow would agree 😉😏
From being the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, to the Queen Regent, to a prisoner and back to being the Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms etc etc (it's way too long to type out), Cersei is no woman to mess with. In the earlier seasons, Cersei's wardrobe was lavish and grand paired with her golden locks, but since her imprisonment and the walk of atonement, Cersei has never looked more intimidating with her pixie cut and black snake-like gowns. 🐍
I never really liked Sansa but she really proved herself in the season 7 finale. Her wardrobe also changes according to her character development throughout the series. For most of the series, she was clad in pretty pastel gowns which fit her naive and sheltered character. Ever since her traumatic incident with Ramsey, Sansa has never been the same and her wardrobe reflected that. She became the Lady of Winterfell and ditched her dainty gowns for black fur capes. #InYourFaceLittlefinger. 🔪
Arya was never a girly girl so dresses were barely in her wardrobe. This little assassin honestly intimidates me with her badass attitude and her costumes really stand out from the rest of the female characters. Ever since her return from Braavos, her outfits have definitely become more refined and sturdy almost ninja-like. Arya has got to be one of my favourite characters because of her strong personality and backstory. Definitely can't wait to see who she kills next (hopefully Cersei).
Nathalie Emmanuel is so bloody gorgeous and that bod holy guacamole she is one hottie. 😍 It's weird to think that in the books, Missandei is only 10 years old, but lucky for us she's not a child in the show because I am so excited that the Missandei- Grey Worm ship is finally sailing!! 💏 Her enviable wardrobe throughout the series were simple and ethereal gowns and sexy crops to show off her olive skin and toned body. But similar to her Queen, Missandei has switched to black suits in the recent season probably signifying that shit is about to go downnn. :D
The only dead character in this list (surprisingly), Margaery slayed being the Queen even if it was short-lived. Like all the women on Game Of Thrones, Natalie Dormer has an incredible body and her gowns perfectly shaped her hour-glass figure. Margaery was a fine example of how you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Sweet and graceful on the outside, Margaery was sneaky and pretty brilliant just like her grandmother. #RIPHouseTyrell 💀🌹
Going back to my little cave of post Game Of Thrones blues. Until next time!
Love, Shona xx
