New at The WYLD Shop: Aussie labels and local brands edition
We know you love discovering great new labels — which lines up pretty nicely with our obsession with finding the best and most unique independent brands in Asia, Australia and beyond. If you’re a regular at our Joo Chiat boutique, you’ll know we’re all about fun fashion that works for all women, swoon-worthy homewares and championing local brands. You could say it’s an eclectic mix; we call it enjoying all the beautiful things in life and supporting the amazing, creative individuals behind them.
The WYLD fam is growing with our latest line-up, starting with sunglasses by the newly launched Aussie label Lo and Behold. We think it’s a perfect complement for our expanded collection by iconic sunnies brand, Le Specs.
We’ve brought in another Aussie newcomer, Hello Weekend, which produces totes and pouches in prints that give you an instant hit of happiness, alongside more colour therapy via local fashion brand BaeBeeBoo.
We love supporting conscious businesses, and have introduced the divine haircare range by New Zealand's Holistic Hair, and beautiful artisanal leather sandals by Annie & Lori – an ethical brand that hails from The Philippines.
And, to celebrate The WYLD Shop’s fourth anniversary since we opened the doors to our boutique and made vibrant Joo Chiat our home, we’ve launched an equally vibrant collection of WYLD kimonos. No lie, we’re pretty in love with them and hope you’ll fall for one too…
Now, get to know our new brands a little better:
LO AND BEHOLD
We just road-tested this brand new collection of sunnies on an epic girls’ trip to Bali, and no lie, we had people ask us where we got our amazing shades from. FYI, the style attracting admirers was Rose All Day, pictured at the top of this article. We say things bode well for this Aussie brand, which is on a mission to make luxury-quality sunglasses more accessible – the range of cool cat’s eye shades, oversized aviators and leopard-print lovelies is available from $79 to $89, giving us all that excuse to indulge in more than one style.
HELLO WEEKEND
Inspired by the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia – which is famous for its pristine surfing beaches and laid-back lifestyle, Hello Weekend brings a little extra joy to our days with its brightly patterned totes and pouches. Made from recycled PET water bottles, we're taking Hello Weekend everywhere at the moment. The totes are are a big winner – massive enough and tough to handle our grocery shopping, or to haul the kids' gear to the pool or beach – and it folds up neatly to pack and bring on holiday.
ANNIE & LORI
Annie & Lori is an emerging Filipino brand making waves with its small but beautiful collection of artisanally made leather sandals that have already caught the eye of British Vogue. We love Annie & Lori for its commitment to ethically sourced materials, clean lines and amazing quality. The leather crossover Crostini sandals one of the brand’s bestsellers, and we can see why…
LE SPECS
A cult classic since its inception in ‘89, Le Specs really needs no introduction, and we’ve championed this iconic sunglasses brand here at The WYLD Shop since the beginning. But we’re relaunching the Euro-chic label in store with an expanded collection of shades in classic shapes with an edge. We love an oversized aviator and cat’s eye, and there’s plenty of both to go round in this latest drop, alongside our current must-have design, Mountain HIgh – which gives retro vibes.

BAEBEEBOO
Local label BaeBeeBoo is beloved for its bright range of accessories, starting with its signature mask chains adorned with beads and flamboyant tassels. New to the brand is a lineup of jandals – JaeDals – that are edgy and feminine at once with their chunky soles and ribbon straps. For the kimono lovers, check out their vibrant tie-dye numbers, in midi and maxi lengths perfect for poolside and swanning around on your next beach vacay.
HOLISTIC HAIR
We’re loving the formulas behind this natural hair care range, which combines plant-based ingredients, aromatherapy and the expertise of trichologists for gentle but incredibly effective treatments that support hair and scalp health. The shampoos, conditioners and nourishing scalp oils work wonders – and essential in Singapore where increased hair fall is a thing! You know what we’re talking about.
WYLD
To help celebrate our boutique’s fourth birthday, we’ve brought back our kimono collection, and in a big way. We’re just going to come out and say it: the prints are more fabulous than ever, with beautiful contrasting borders and colours we can’t stop collecting. We made them in a midi an maxi length, and use them for luxe loungewear, a cover-up over cute shorts, and over a little black dress for date night. Because you can never have too many of these beauties…
And we’ll leave you with another one of our faves:
