PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN

Job Summary:

As a Fashion & Lifestyle Photography Intern at WYLD, you will work closely with our creative team to produce compelling and visually stunning images that showcase our clothing and accessories. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, gaining valuable hands-on experience in fashion photography for e-commerce. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the creative team to understand the brand's visual direction and photography requirements.
  2. Assist in planning and executing fashion & product photoshoots, ensuring that the brand's image and aesthetic are captured effectively.
  3. Set up lighting equipment, backgrounds, and props to create visually appealing compositions.
  4. Assist in styling models, including selecting outfits, coordinating accessories, and ensuring proper fit.
  5. Operate and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories.
  6. Capture high-quality images of models wearing our clothing and accessories, focusing on showcasing the products in an engaging and visually appealing manner.
  7. Assist in post-processing and editing of images, including color correction, retouching, and cropping for the website and Social Media 
  8. Organize and maintain the digital image library, ensuring files are properly labeled, backed up, and easily accessible.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends, photography techniques, and industry developments.
  10. Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the target audience and create visual content that resonates with our customers.
  11. Assist in other photography-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a relevant degree program in photography, visual arts, or a related field.
  2. A strong portfolio showcasing your photography skills, with a focus on fashion or editorial work.
  3. Knowledge of photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
  4. Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
  5. Understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory in photography.
  6. Basic understanding of fashion trends and the ability to translate them into compelling visual content.
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a creative team.
  9. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for fashion photography, e-commerce and Social Media 
  10. Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback into your work.
