WYLD Goes to Malaysia

Hello WYLD readers! It's me again, Cicily here with a few thoughts on our Mercedes Benz Stylo Asia Fashion Week. We arrived to Kuala Lumpur just a few days before the show and everyone is getting super excited and a little bit anxious. 

Two days before our show, we picked up the shoes from KLCC Steve Madden, Malaysia and oh boy do they look gorgeous! 

Decisions! Decisions! Decisions! Stay tuned for which one of these shoes we chose for our shoes.

There I am in the middle with my director (Kara) and creative designer (Loo) figuring out the lineup of our girls.

When we had fitting for the models in the morning, just like any fashion show, we had some hiccups along the way. We didn't quite know which models would look best in each of our outfits so it took a little time to readjust and find the perfect look. After playing dress up with our girls, all things fell into place and our models looked "WYLD" and beautiful. 

On the day of our show, we arrived to the Matrade Centre at 10am sharp to steam the clothes and fitted the models that were missing the previous day. Backstage, as usual, was very hectic and packed with other dressers and designers. We were lucky enough to be the first show of the day, so we didn't have to rush to dress any of the models. After the models put on our clothes and were ready to strut their stuff on the runway, G (WYLD director), Loo and I rushed to the front to enjoy the show. The show was a success! I am very grateful and privileged that I got to be a part of the WYLD team and got to experience Asia's Fashion Week.
