Riau Candle Co.

Riau Candle Company is a fair trade social enterprise by The Seed Basket that seeks to empower women and families in impoverished areas of Riau Island.  Marginalised women are employed to produce and sell hand-poured soy candles made with locally sourced, high-quality essential oils and wax blends. 100% of their proceeds are used to continue funding this project, as well as other social developments in the area such as access to clean water, healthcare, and the development of small businesses.
