Rock These 3 Summer Dresses On Your Winter Holiday #theWYLDway
Hey WYLDones! Anyone looking forward to the end-of-year hols? Well I am - whoooo hooo!! If you're anything like me who dreams about escaping the Singapore heat at the end of the year, a winter holiday is the perfect treat which is why I've already booked a plane to Hong Kong! The thought of wearing coats, scarves and thigh high boots get me reallyyyy excited for the upcoming festivities. But some of us may have difficulty parting with sunny Singapore. The sun, the bikinis, the dresses. THE DRESSES. Honestly dresses are the easiest to slip into and walk out of the house and if you think you'll have to keep away your lovely frocks until you're back home, you're wrong! We still wanna be able to rock our smocks on our winter holidays and the secret to not freezing your butt off, is layering. Check out some of the ways WE would style our favourite summer dresses in a winter wonderland.

Maxi dresses are always great in the colder months because they cover you up right down to your toes. If it's extra chilly, slip into some thick tights under and you're good to go. Our favourite way to style a maxi is by adding a leather jacket. Not only does it keep you warm, leather just makes you look extra cool. Throw on some chelsea boots to complete your rocker chic get-up and viola, you have slayed the maxi.
Buy: Nicoletta Antique Babydoll Dress
Keep the summer dream alive in an adorable baby doll dress. With its feminine silhouette, this piece can be easily styled for the colder months. We think thigh high boots would look absolutely sick with this dress (it also helps to keep your legs warm)! Throw on a scarf for that extra coziness and you're ready for the autumn leaves. Did someone say pumpkin spice latte?
Personally, my favourite is the slip dress. I think it should be a staple in every girl's wardrobe because of its versatility. You can wear it on its own, throw over a cardigan, or layer it up. My favourite way is to layer it; a t-shirt in the summer and a turtleneck in the winter. Turtlenecks are ~magical~. They can turn a casual piece into pure sophistication. I love the preppy look so I'd pair it with some trusty Converse and a mini backpack for all my essentials. Cute! ;)
