Stylist Christina Gatcliffe Shares Some Tips On How To Style Her Favourite WYLD pieces!
I offer clients Wardrobe Refreshes to cleanse their wardrobes of items that are worn, ill fitting or are no longer on trend. I usually follow this up with personal shopping with the client with the aim of creating a wardrobe that they love and one that makes getting dressed in the morning an altogether more enjoyable task.
Becoming an expat I discovered shopping isn't that easy in Singapore. The shops here are a far cry from the London High Street I know and love. Also, the climate added a whole new level of complexity when getting dressed in the morning. However, I quickly discovered retailers and online shops that sold good quality, form fitting and reasonably priced apparel and theWYLDshop is one that I love.

A staple in anyone's wardrobe! These high waist shorts inject an edgier vibe to a look and are incredibly versatile. The stretchy fabric makes them incredibly comfortable and would suit the majority of body shapes. As a contrast to the dark black colour, I suggest adding a pop of colour and/or print on the top half or with the use of accessories.
To show off the high waist design, tuck in a top or blouse, this will help make the outfit look more put together. Wear with wedge sandals and a statement necklace and you've got your perfect day to night outfit. If you're looking for a little more coverage then why not add a longer length kimono? Pairing heels with these shorts will to create height and instantly elongate the leg. Use a scarf as a belt to add your own personal style. To smarten the look, pair with a buttoned down blouse and fitted jacket.

Perfect for the Singapore climate, this lightweight slip dress provides the wow factor with its standout leopard print design. It's a relaxed easy to wear piece and a great option for holidays but it can also be dressed up easily for the evening. As this dress is less structured, it can work well on the majority of body shapes.

Make a statement with this bell sleeves top, the perfect piece to update your wardrobe. Designers have been showcasing longer and wider sleeved silhouettes for some time now and this trend doesn't appear to be going anywhere! Teamed with a peplum hemline and round neck, this is an extremely flattering top for all body shapes.
Styling tips:
Go all out with volume by pairing this chic top with a ruffled skirt, shorts or culottes. Alternatively balance the proportions by wearing skinny jeans or fitted trousers. To compliment the round neck, add a short statement necklace or add a pendant to draw the eye down. Add a pop of colour on the bottom half or a bold print to add further interest to this outfit.
Christina will be hosting a Styling Night on Thursday the 25th May.
